COVID-19

At Quejos Ancient Foods Inc. we are committed to the health and well-being of our employees and their safety at our workplace. We are equally committed to assuring the safety of our customers and local community. Since the coronavirus pandemic hit our province we have been fortunate to continue our production operations and now more than ever, we are dedicated to maintaining our high food safety standards.

Since the start of March 2020 , we have strengthened our Food and Work Safety protocol and we are carefully following the guidelines provided by the Provincial and Federal Health Authorities to minimize the risk of infection and ensure the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our community.

In addition:

- Our facility is closed to all visitors and contractors. Only essential outside personnel are permitted. Everyone is screened for symptoms before they enter and are required to sanitize their hands.

- We have increased sanitation and hand washing protocols for our staff and increased frequency of disinfection of all common and high touch areas, lunchroom, washrooms, etc.

 - We have implemented staggered coffee and lunch breaks to ensure enough space for physical distancing in the lunchroom. Sanitation and disinfecting procedures after every break have also been put in place.

- Staff is monitored for symptoms daily.

- We maintain regular communication with all employees to make sure they are fully aware of any new safety measures and are kept well informed of the latest developments on a daily basis.

- We provide facial masks and face shields to each employee.
