*1 Box or Pouch of Quesava Perogies

Ingredients

Beefless Carne Seca:

1 diced onion

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp mesquite liquid smoke

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cumin

500g chopped young jackfruit

2 tbsp grapeseed or avocado oil


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook Gluten-free, Plant-based Perogies following the instructions on the packaging

  2. For illustrated steps, watch the video above on how to prepare the beefless carne-seca.

  3. Place a large frying pan over medium heat, add oil - let it warm up - add chopped jackfruit and onions. Pan-fry stirring gently until they start to get a golden colour.

  4. Add other ingredients and mix well. Serve on top of perogies.
