Perogies with Beefless Carne Seca

What’s fun about plant-based recipes is that they push you to think outside the box. Let’s be real, using jackfruit as a meat alternative is probably the last thing that’ll come to mind. Curious about how it’ll taste? Try it yourself with our recipe 👩🏼‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳

Beefless Carne Seca:

1 diced onion

2 tsp of garlic powder

2 tsp of mesquite liquid smoke

1 tbsp of maple syrup

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of ground cumin

500g of jackfruit

2 tbsp of grapeseed or avocado oil

Salt to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish.

Cook Quesava perogies following the instructions on the packaging. Top them with beefless carne seca. Watch video for directions.
