Do you love to feed people delicious, healthy food? Enjoy being in the kitchen and have time for permanent part-time work during the day? Into Gluten Free, Vegan, Dairy Free and World/Village recipes?

We’re looking for people to help us make our bakery/café THE spot in Vancouver for Gluten Free, Vegan, Diary Free, conventional and unique take-out/take-home lunches and dinners.

We don’t use preservatives, additives, refined sugars, trans-fats or GMO’s, buy locally and organic as much as possible, and keep the list of ingredients short and easily recognizable. You should see yourself fitting in and contributing your recipes and ideas.

Job duties are food preparation and packaging for take-out/delivery, general kitchen work, and occasionally looking after a customer or running out to pick up ingredients.

Hours are 9:30 – 2:30 mostly week days with some weekend shifts on a shared basis. The position is part-time, permanent with benefits (assuming you can commit to the minimum 20 hours per week). Pay is $15/hr. to start depending on skill level with increases based on accomplishments. We’re at 25th and Main, would be good if you’re close and an asset if you can drive our small van.

We also do product demos at local grocery stores; if you drive, are available and interested we can talk about that as well.
